My experience includes working with children/adolescents aged 6-17 and their family support system, in which I work to provide child and family therapy to strengthen the parental role, while developing positive relationships. Additional experience includes working with patients of any age struggling with Mood Disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, and PTSD/Trauma. I have a special interest in and focused my dissertation on racial identity development, specifically with Multiracial individuals. I am also completing my post-doc requirements with another private practice, gaining experience in psychological and neurological assessment; of which I will be able to offer at TCCT late 2022 or early 2023.

I am currently only offering virtual therapy sessions for ages 15 and up, however my hours are limited to 9am-3pm, Monday thru Friday. I work with my patients to establish their goals for therapy, and assist them to reach those identified goals in their own time. The most important person in the therapy session is YOU, and therefore I will coordinate and collaborate with you to develop the best treatment approach for you. Call me today, and let’s get started to redefining a healthy, happy YOU!!! For LLPC's, I have acquired the necessary training to provide licensure supervision, in addition to holding the Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential. I look forward to potentially working with LLPC's who are aspiring to grow professionally within the mental health field.

I am a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor and I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling. I am under the supervision of the owner of TCCT, Erika A. Collins, MS LPC NCC ACS CCTP. I provide counseling services for individuals, couples, families, and groups, as well as play therapy for children. I also provide couple assessments for couples who are dating, engaged, or married using the scientifically proven PREPARE/ENRICH software designed to help couples explore and strengthen their relationship. My approach to counseling comes mainly from the Cognitive Behavioral theoretical orientation, however I draw from various theoretical orientations to help meet my patient's needs. I firmly believe that our thoughts influence how we feel and behave; once we develop more adaptive thoughts, we will be able to live healthy and fulfilling lives. In counseling, we will work together to help you achieve your own sense of wellness. You are the expert and I am here to hold up a mirror to help you see yourself more clearly.
